Alicia (Receptionist/Admin Assistant)

Alicia’s enthusiasm and bright smile are a welcome addition to our administrative team. She will initiate your involvement with our staff, directing your concerns in the most appropriate and expedited manner. With a diploma in both Medical Office Assistant and Administrative Assistant programs, Alicia brings a strong skill set to the practice.

Laura (P.N.)

Laura is a practical nurse who has been working in surgical specialists’ offices since 1980. She joined Dr. Smith in the mid 1990s, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a natural compassion for patients. Laura is involved with postoperative management of patients, as well as organizing surgical bookings and patient information.

Heather , R.N.

Heather is a registered nurse licensed under the CRNBC since 1993. She is ACLS certified and has worked in the Royal Jubilee hospital recovery room for 13 years. She has worked in Guatemala, England and, in intensive care in the U.S. She has been involved with cosmetic and reconstructive surgery since 1993 and has been providing quality post-operative home nursing care for a number of years.

Lisa, Accounts/Administration

As executive administrative assistant, Lisa is responsible for organizing patient information and accounts, as well as the overall administrative accounts for Dr. Smith's practice. Lisa also fields the many emails from patients through our website "contact us" section.

Yana Taylor (BscN)

Yana is a registered nurse, licensed under the C.R.N.B.C, with a BScN degree from the University of Victoria. Before embarking on her nursing career, she was a certified esthetician working in the cosmetics industry for several years. This unique combination of esthetics and medical training really gives her the ‘edge’ when it comes to providing you with a full array of non-surgical procedures.

Cindy (R.N., C.P.S.N.)

Cindy is a registered nurse, licensed under the CRNBC. She has recently been credentialed by the A.S.P.S. as a Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse, recognizing her specialty skills and knowledge in plastic surgery. Cindy has been involved in acute surgical nursing since 1991 and has been working alongside Dr. Smith since 1993. She functions as Dr. Smith’s assistant in the Operating Room.

Carol ( R.N.)

Carol is a registered nurse, licensed under CRNBC and has been involved in perioperative and post anaesthetic nursing in acute care settings for over 30 years. She also brings management experience and expanded understanding and expertise in sterile processing of supplies and instruments.
