OUT OF TOWN CANADIAN PATIENTS
 

We recognize that some patients would prefer to embark on cosmetic surgery outside of their own community, for reasons of heightened confidentiality, family support, etc.    Dr. Smith and his staff work hard to accommodate any out of town Canadian patients.
It is our hope that we can make the arrangements easier by providing some key information.
Often, the first communication occurs via email off our website.    Through open communication we can narrow down whether you are an appropriate candidate for surgery, do some initial teaching and handle paperwork issues ahead of time.
Once we have determined that surgery would be appropriate, we book an official consultation with Dr. Smith.  For most surgical procedures we can co-ordinate consultation and surgery within one trip.   However, for more complex surgeries, it may be necessary for a patient to visit Victoria on two separate occasions; one for consultation and the other for final discussion and surgery.
It is important to note that out of town patients must plan for a support person to bring them to surgery and be with them for at least the first 24-48 hours post-operatively.

As well, Parkside has partnered with our practice to offer our patients special rates for longer stays.     Rates starting at 699.00 (5 nights), 799.00 (6 nights) and 899.00 (7 nights).  These are exception rates for a resort of this caliber.
